March Counterfeit Kit challenge 2 - Vera Bradley

When I saw the second CK challenge this month I was a very happy girl, I love Vera Bradley bags!!
Although many find the vibrant and colourful mixed paisley patterns a little over the top, I think there should be at least one VB bag in every girl's wardrobe, just for fun.
I bought my first VB bag in about 2007 the pattern is called Emily and has since been retired. I use it as a catchall for my toiletries and it really comes in useful when I travel.
A few days ago I purchased a large hipster bag on ebay, it should be here any day now.
The pattern is a mix of blue, pink & lilac paisleys on a black background.
It is also a retired pattern (2011) and although the VB site lists it as a winter design I think it's fab and love the name "Symphony in Hue"!

This is the page I created from my "Knickerbocker Glory" counterfeit kit for the VB challenge, using 3 patterned papers, washi tape, wood alpha's (gessoed & inked) and Teresa Collins embellie & enamel dots.

  1. The bag is gorgeous and so is your page. Love the little detail at the top corner.

  2. Awesome take on the challenge! Using a VB challenge to scrap your VB bag....brilliant!

  3. Beautiful Maggie - I love the colours :)

  4. Clever use of PPs and the take on the challenge is ace!

  5. great idea to scrap your love of those bags for your album.

I've never come across them before but they do look fun.

  6. Great job with the challenge. And how about that - using photos of VB IN the challenge!?!! Excellent!

  7. They can also offer a decorative element to the room. It also
increases our expenses. Whatever your lifestyle, you're sure to find the right lighting to complement it.

  8. How cool to have a Vera Bradley page for the VB challenge! The bag looks very cool. I love the washi tape on your layout! x
