Welcome to my sacred scrap room up in the attic,
if you're on the hop you probably arrived here from Margie's blog.
After me please do hop on over to K's place.
Don't worry if you get turned around, or can't finish the hop in one go,
there's a list of participants at the end of my post that should get you back hopping again.
The 3 challenges on CKCB this month are
#1 Pick a Challenge
#2 Sketch Challenge
(I skipped that one!)
#3 Spring Challenge
and that's the one I'm revealing today for the hop.
My inspiration for this page came from the LO below
which I found on Pinterest.
As soon as I saw it my mind went straight to my forged kit
"It's a New Season".
I thought that the PL cards and embellies in there were perfect for this scraplift.
Thanks to Eyoung Lee @ Studio Calico
for making this image available to pinners everywhere.
I hope you've enjoyed stopping by in Normandy today.
Please leave a comment so that I know you were here
then I can hop on over and visit you back.

This page is delightful, what a great use of those cards, and the anchoring of the stitching is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteGreat design, LOVE your take on it!
ReplyDeleteAwesome page-and I love the idea for a way to use up PL cards-I will definitely need to do a scraplift!
ReplyDeleteOh, yes - that LOVE card is FAB! This page is simply perfect.
ReplyDeleteI especially like the dabs of stamping - adds texture & interest.
Very nice. You did a very good job using your inspiration piece.
ReplyDeleteThis is just lovely! I like how each grid has it's own pretty little details and yet the entire page is very cohesive. The stitching is the perfect touch - I love it!
ReplyDeletePinning!!!! I love your grid design, and the sewing . . . I am totally going to have to counterfeit that one some time soon!
ReplyDeleteThats just gorgeous Maggie..now can I justify buying a sewing machine just to re-create it? Hmm....
ReplyDeleteI adore this layout. What a wonderful take on the original inspiration project from Pinterest. I love the stitching and think I might have to go and pin it myself! Thanks for joining in on the hop this month and with such a wonderful layout.
ReplyDeleteI, so, love this with the blocking and stitching!! Just an awesome scraplift. The little blotches of color are terrific!
