It’s April Fools Day and here I am pinching myself - but
it’s true - I am the Guest Designer for the Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog for
April.
Thinking a little outside the box the challenge
is to forge Case 112 devised by the True Detectives over at CSI (Color, Stories& Inspiration) blog.
I've just discovered this amazing, inspiring blog and am looking forward to joining the Detectives and solving future cases with them.
Consider the Evidence:
Blue, white, green & cream cardstock, vellum, die-cuts,
ribbon, tags, flowers & buttons from stash; Toga photo frames (I'm loving these
frames) double sided patterned papers; Dear Lizzy, Falling Star;
Fancy Pants, Merry Little Christmas and Maggie Holmes, Happy Day mixed in with
vintage sheet music & pages taken from “Le Livre de L’Ecole
1890".
Alpha’s and word stickers from MME “Lost & Found” by Jen
Allyson, I’ll be using stamps and inks too, as & when.
Testimony, the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
Dream, sleep, tranquility, vacation - such wonderful inspirational thoughts and ideas.

Compared to previous kits my April Kit is quite pared down but small is beautiful they say.
Before you leave
how about a quick game of "Would I Lie To You" to celebrate April Fools Day?
There's a fabulous kit to be won, a giveaway on CKCB
is to guess which of the following 3 statements about me is not true
To mark my 40th birthday I had a small butterfly tattooed above my right ankle.
I once chatted up Cliff Richard whilst waiting to board a BA flight from Munich to London.
Instead of drinking margaritas on the beach in Cancun I spent our Silver Wedding Anniversary on the operating table having my gall bladder removed.
Leave a comment on this post, any time before the 16th April, telling me which statement is false
then visit all the other blogs in the hop for even more chances to win.
The winner (and the correct guesses) will be announced on the Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog on April 18th.
Thanks for stopping by on the blog hop today, I hope that you'll come back again during the next few weeks when I'll be revealing my take on the inspiring challenges thought up by the CKCB Design Team.
Time to Hop Off to Bethany's blog now.

Beautiful kit, very harmonious.
ReplyDeleteAnd about the game, I guess that the tatoo is the lie !
I think the tattoo is the false one.
ReplyDeleteOops forgot to say what a pretty kit. I'm lusting after that ribbon.
ReplyDeleteLOVE that ribbon in your small but perfectly formed Identikit!
ReplyDeleteI'd say that #2 with Cliff was false ... I wonder?!
Great kit - love how you took it into the blue hues with those gorgeous navy papers. really lovely. Looking forward to having you on the team with us this month :-)
ReplyDeleteI think that Cliff Richard was false!
Great kit...congratulations on being this month GD
ReplyDeleteBeautiful kit, just love all those colors together and you pulled some cool embellishments too. congrats on being GD this month.
ReplyDeleteSo for the game I think the 2nd one is wrong about Cliff Richards
Exquisite kit! I love the colors and your choice of embellishments have me swooning! Terrific inspiration as you included one of my favorite embellishments in your kit.
ReplyDeleteI have to pick number 2 as being false!
What a pretty kit! I love the embellishments you chose. I think #1 is false - no butterfly tattoos for you ;)
ReplyDeleteLovely kit. I just added those wee alphas to my stash, two months ago. Does that make them "old enough" for CKC shopping spree?
ReplyDeleteThe tattoo is the lie.
Your kit is fantastic! I agree small is beautiful. I love your choice of tags and alphas - those will surely go a long way. As for your lie - I'm thinking it's the tattoo. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the inspiration for this kit! Lovely kit!
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the Team! I vote for the tattoo... I'll be watching for the galloping horse embelli
ReplyDeleteGald tohave you with us Maggie and waht a lovely small but beautiful kit :)
ReplyDeleteI am with my namesake Leslie and think that the tattoo is the falsie :)
Great kit Maggie. Cliff Richard isn't available for chatting up, he's mine! Therefore I think Cliff is a lie.
ReplyDeleteWelcome as Guest designer this month. Love all of the rich blues and the pops of green in your kit. I am sure hoping you didn't have to spend your anniversary getting your gall bladder out. Hope that's a lie. Have fun this month.
ReplyDeleteYou got a super duper kit! love the combination of the blue shades with the vintage music and book papers.
ReplyDeleteI'm a long time fan of CSI, and of CKC too :). please join CSI and say 'hi'. I'm sure you are gonna love the place :)
What a wonderful kit - it's full of what I call 'vacation blues'. So reminiscent of summer!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful kit Maggie! Can't wait to see your creations this month. I have no idea about your questions, they all seem believable! LOL But since I have to choose, I'll guess that #2 is false.
ReplyDeleteI love this kit Maggie.. congratulations on being this months GD. I think No. 1 is false
ReplyDeleteI think the second one is incorrect about Cliff Richard.
ReplyDeleteLoving your kit you've managed to incorporate a darker blue in yours than me!
beautiful kit, so great having you join us this month.
ReplyDeleteBlessings from Angela
This is a great challenge... I have never played but I think I will give it a try... I am also going to guess that Number 2 is not true.
ReplyDeleteWonderful kit Maggie - I think you've amassed more than enough evidence to solve the Case File and I hope you'll join us again at CSI.
ReplyDeleteAs for your testimony, well ... I reckon the tattoo is a porky pie! :o)
