Boy! doesn't time fly!

I can't believe how long it's been since I blogged on here, or blogged at all come to think of it.
I did finally manage this week to do a couple of posts over on my Normandy Life blog about our trip to Derbyshire, in September, which you might enjoy so just click on the sidebar link and hop over to Normandy for a visit.
Anyhoo...........................
I have done some scrapping this week a couple of circle journal pages for the Flyers CJ which is coming to an end soon and also this LO for the Simple Recipes challenge on the UK Scrappers site.
The criteria set for this month were the following.

Colour palette: Vintage Coral, Burnished Gold & Old Navy, use a poem as inspiration or as part of the page embellishment; use woodgrain or wooden embellishment and make a garland or use garland pieces on the page.

It was a top tip from Leo though that brought everything together on this challenge for me.

The idea of creating an introduction page to show what type of layouts an album contains was a revelation because although I keep my pages in scrapbook albums I never themed them.
I do now!

too much of A Good Thing can be Wonderful

Have you ever scrapped a divided page?
I hadn't heard of this style of scrap booking until I read Leo's Simple Recipes February challenge on UKS this week.
The colour palette suggested was toasted almond, mint green & lipstick pink.
Other ingredients to be included:  left over Christmas/Winter stickers/embellies and ledger print paper.
The example LO and page sketch were easy to follow and put me in mind of the collages that I create for Mosaic Monday over on my Normandy Life blog.
Following that train of thought I printed some photos, taken on our last trip, HHI tourist images which I found on google; added a quote, some washi tape & TH idea-ology sticker and this was the end result............................
